Family Estate Car Fiat Marea Weekend 16v.Cars Salvage in g3 7hr
Pictures to follow. This car has a fantastic engine, gearbox, no leaks, noises or rattles and has been regularly serviced. I am selling it as it has sustained a low speed bump to the rear left passenger door only and this will need replacing. It has a couple of other age related scratches but nothing that won’t polish out. The driver of the other car was only insured on his mums insurance (damn Citroen Saxo Kids) and therefore I need to sell mine. It’s a huge shame but I had TPFT insurance as I’m not a regular driver so my insurance will not pay out. Lesson learnt.... get fully comp. This is a lovely large family car with low mileage 84,000, five doors, huge boot and is a great runner. Starts first time every time, rain, sleet and snow. It just needs to be repaired at the rear left door and put on the road. I’ve looked at doors for it from local scrap yards and salvage merchants and they are between £30-£50. With some knowhow this car could be back on the road in no time. The car has 3 brand new tyres and receipts for these, full mats all round internally. And comes with the owner’s manual and I have the V5 documents in hand. The estate also has a CD changer in the boot, radio, electric front windows and a tow bar. It’s a good family run around which won’t break the bank, is cheap to insure and economical on fuel being a 1.6 petrol with plenty of poke from the 16 valve engine. The rear door still opens and seals fine and many have said to just get a new door and have it painted whenever I can. However my insurance is going up and the tax coming up on the vehicle on the 14/04/10 and having just spent over £100 on tyres I simply cannot afford it. I can get tax at the buyer’s expense if required. The MOT runs out in april too but it will pass another no problem. There are no known mechanical or electrical faults as I had it inspected from a mechanic 3 months ago when I bought it. However I’m no expert so feel free to view, inspect and test drive to decide for yourself. She drives great. I am willing to be flexible on price to all who are interested.
