£500    2008 Honda CR-V 2.2 Turbo Spares or Repairs

Here is my Honda CRV which I have owned for the last 2 and a half years. Although it has been a great all-round car for me, it has unfortunately developed a very nasty knocking sound from the engine bay. It had a new clutch fitted a few years ago, has had lots of maintenance undertaken such as new battery and new alternator less than 6 months ago, new tyres all-around 3 months ago, new anti-roll bar link 3 months ago.

Has always flown through mots and has always been regularly serviced. It has a mileage of 198,000 so I suspect this is an age-related problem. It has been into a garage for diagnosis and although no definitive diagnosis was given I was advised not to start spending money on the problem due to its age. So I am making it available for anyone who might want to take it on as a repair, or use it for parts.
