Description
I have my V50 D5 2009 for sale.
I have had it for a couple of years but have been through the wringer with it. I am unfortunately now at a point where I have no more time or finances to get it going the way the car deserves.
In the interest of clarity I will note the issues I have had with it and outstanding work that needs to be done on the car as follows:
We had a storm and drove through a puddle after having the clutch and DMF replaced 3 months prior. The airbox took in water and stopped the engine which caused the clutch and DMF to fail again.
The independent Volvo Specialist I took it to for the original repair refused to replace it under warranty unless I paid for the full job again. I went back and forth with them until they said to take it to court and refused to take any responsibility for it.
I then paid for another garage to fit a new Clutch and DMF again along with brand new tyres and an MOT (valid till 26 October 2021).
