For Sale spares or repair.
Looking to sell my 2003 Honda Civic Type R (Pre-facelift).
Bought the car from a friend as a project for the winter but underestimated the work required and unfortunately, it’s beyond my capabilities (welding).
Starting with the good bits.
141k miles.
Timing Chain and Clutch replaced 20k miles ago with invoices to prove.
Pretty much standard bar a de-cat pipe (original cat not with the vehicle).
Starts to stop n goes really well… no unwanted engine noises.
Alpine Bluetooth radio.
Now for the not so good bits.
The offside floor where it meets the outer sill has gone, I assume will require a new sill, nearside doesn’t look fantastic but seems solid.
EML is on due to a decaying pipe.
Nearside rear calliper is sticking.
The driver seat is in very poor condition, the bolster is worn through completely, also a hole in the driver's floor carpet.
Gear linkage needs looking at as sometimes can be quite a vague picking out certain gears.
Bodywork is presentable, rear bumper will need painting.
Drop link knock from the front suspension.
The aircon condenser will need replacing.
Wheels are in good condition bar a few minor kerb marks with legal tyres.
The rear window tint is bubbling so will need removing.
The car has a current MOT till 22nd December 2021.
One key with a remote key fob.
