Description
Spares and Repairs - Here is my 2010 2.0TDCI Ford S-max. It has MOT until December 2023. This would make a bargain for someone who knows what they are doing mechanically or knows someone who does.
Last month the front offside calliper seized, I had the calliper, both front discs and pads changed at a cost of £550 (invoice available). The garage advised me the calliper was still sticking slightly and it needed a new ABS pump. I don't have the time to get this fixed so have purchased a new car.
The car still drives fine, fully working other than the front drives side calliper that sticks slightly. Whilst you could drive it away I wouldn't recommend as you may damage the new brake discs.
Other than the above issue, everything on the car works as it should including parking sensors and aircon. In the last 12 months it's had -
-Cambelt and water pump
-New front tyres
-New front discs, pads and calliper
-Oil and filter change
