The car has misfire (cylinder 5). EML light is on. So it has engine problem.
Very high spec M-Sport 540i. Low milage 105,000 miles with recent new MOT with minor advisories.
Comes with radar cruise control, head up display, beige leather interior etc.
Faults with the car. there is misfire in cylinder 5. This caused EML to come on. EML comes off every now and then, but comes back on eventually and stays on. Car can be driven just fine, but has a rough idle. There is some squeaking from the rear bushes - this can be unnoticed, but over certain bumps its noticeable.
This was bough as a project so 530i and 550i were simply too expensive. However it may cost too much to have this fixed by a garage so perhaps a good car for someone who can address issues themselves. Car is booked to a BMW specialist but earliest appointment was only mid June, so if it won't sell before then it will go to get fixed.
No test drives. I am happy to drive you around in it and the car will drive just fine and I would be happy to drive it long distance. The car has problem with engine, so don't expect it to be perfect. It could be something simple, or it could be head gasket, I don't know. I have tried to be very clear about the issues and the price.
